CutWheel cannot be compared to conventional hedge trimmers, as it can easily handle wood with diameters ranging from 3 mm to 20 cm and is the only device of its kind that can be operated on a 15-tonne excavator. The attachment, which is controlled entirely from the cab, not only cuts but also saws with its counter blade. Mounted on an excavator, CutWheel works at heights of up to six metres, eliminating the need for expensive aerial work platforms for maintaining trees and large hedges.
